What are Geopods?
Geopods are wooden structures based on a geodesic dome and have many of the same qualities; strength, good headspace and a beautiful geometric form.
Each Geopod has a diameter of 3.2m (10' 6") and is 2.35m (7' 8") tall in the middle, with a good proportion of the diameter above (1.8m) 6ft, so most people can stand up inside and not just in the middle.
As a glamping tent it's a great size to house a couple in comfort or a young family with two or three children.
As a garden room, fruit cage or greenhouse it's a good sized space that will fit most gardens.
Simple to build
Geopods come ready to snap together and you should be able to build the frame in just 20-30 minutes. Building a Geopod is quick and easy thanks to hubs – clever connectors that make geodesic domes quick, fun and easy to build.
Geopods are aimed at people who want a ready-to-build glamping tent, garden room or grow-space, but if you like DIY and want to make your own dome for any use, head over to buildwithhubs.co.uk to find out more about buying the connectors.
